The new DUCATI Monster has a much more modern design than the previous model.
Good or bad? Who knows..but if you prefer modern-classic lines, here a fast modify every one (almost every-one) can do.
tank: paint your tank with a vintage racing stripe..(you can find a lot of examples on the web, copying old DUCATI motorcycles paintings).
seat: what about an hand-made vintage leather seat? The realistation in harder that one might initially think, study the tecnique, or find a good artisan..quality leather seats are expensive.
headlight: the stock one could be loved or hated..no half measures.
slim, modern high-tech design vs full frontal impact...we are different, and we got different tastes...if you don't like it..just change it.
bigger/smaller with or without profile..the choice is yours.
mirrors: no, you can't see them..buy a couple of round bar end mirrors..ride safe and without problems with the cops.
number plate: bigger/smaller, oval/round, absolutely in metal (please no plastic..) and chose a number or why not..a battle-cry..Vahalalla I'm coming :D
seat cover: that seat cover comes directly from the DUCATI Sport-Classic 1000 (out of production) without resizing, but forget plug-and play..real world is different from digital world..and in metal it will looks better (the Sport Classic one is made of plastic).
frame: the painting of a frame is an hard work..absolutely not for everyone...
Details painting: again..the choice may be only yours.
